Rosa's first listed residence was in Fairview, Kansas((1895 Kansas Census https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QL8V-3KC9)) where she lived with her parents until at least 1905.((1905 Kansas Census https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QPZZ-CSK4))

In 1910 she was living with her husband Milton and their first child Myrtle.((1910 US Censyus https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M2H2-LK6)) In 1915 she was living just south of Fairview in Olmitz, Kansas.((1915 Kansas Census https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QGLV-GCDW)) In 1920 she was listed as living in Albion, Kansas with 5 children.((1920 US Census https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:KNWG-DYW)) By 1930 she was still in Albion, Myrtle had moved out, and her youngest son, Paul, was 4 years old.((1930 US Census https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:X73D-BDC)) In 1940 she was living in Great Bend, Kansas with her husband and two youngest sons.((1940 US Census https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VRVN-111))

Rosa is listed as having attended school for seven months of the year in 1900, and as being able to read and write.((1900 US Census https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MMTS-C4W)) In the 1905, however, 17 year old Rosa is not listed as attending school and is marked as illiterate((1905 Kansas Census https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QPZZ-CSK4)) though this is likely an error as all following censuses mark her as literate.
