Stephen Burnett (26 September 1860) was born in Madison, Illinois to John Burnett and Amy Burnett.

He married Sarah Jane Decker on 23 December 1885 in Chariton, Missouri.

====Residences====

In 1860, the newborn Stephen was living with his parents and sisters in Mason City, Illinois.((1860 US Census https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MX4F-92R)) Before he was 2 years old his father mustered into the 85th Illinois Infantry Regiment. He died two years later at Kennesaw Mountain.
