Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie B. Allen, 80, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church with Rev. O. Ray Cook in charge. Burial was in the Deerfield cemetery where her husband is buried.
Mrs. Allen died Sunday at her home 309 W. Santa Fe street, following a brief illness. She is survived by four daughters and four sons: Mrs. Bertha Grace Stevens, Torrington, Connecticut; Mrs. Mary Ethel Fehrenboch, Jetmore, Kansas; Mrs. Ruth Evelyn Fields, Garden City, Kansas; Mrs. Edna Lucille Crabb, Garden City, Kansas; Edmond Raymond Allen, Larned, Kansas; Milton Roy Allen, Great Bend, Kansas; Warren Allen, Spokane, Washington; and Glenn Allen, Denver, Colorado. She also is survived by two brothers, William A. Bloomer, Belaire, Kansas; and Charles Bloomer, Sealy, Oklahoma.
Her husband, James Milton Allen, Methodist pastor, preceded her in death. Mrs. Allen had been a Garden City resident 29 years.
