Birdie Burnett (27 April 1890) was born in Carroll, Missouri to Stephen and Sarah Burnett.

She married George Furrow on 23 January 1909 in Alva, Oklahoma.

Birdie first appears on the census record in 1900 in Eugene, Missouri, in Carroll County.¹⁾ She was married to George Furrow in Alva, Oklahoma in 1909.²⁾

The next year they moved Jones, Oklahoma in Major County near to her uncle and grandfather, Fred Decker Jr. and Sr.³⁾ In 1917, her husband's WWI draft registration⁴⁾ listed their home address as Belva, Oklahoma in neighboring Woodward County, although They were listed as living in Jones on the 1920 census.⁵⁾

By 1928, Birdie and her family were living in Waynoka where Inez, Alvin, and John were enrolled in school.⁶⁾ She likely stayed in Waynoka until around 1936, the last year his youngest daughter, Billie, was enrolled there.⁷⁾

In 1940 she is listed as living with her husband and two youngest children in Junction City, Kansas.⁸⁾ Her death certificate indicates that she had been living in Amarillo, Texas since 1951 when she passed away in 1964.⁹⁾

On the 1900 census,¹⁰⁾ Birdie is listed as having attended school for two months out of the year, and as being able to read, but not write.

Birdie Furrow passed away on 15 December 1964 from a cerebrovascular thrombosis (blood clot in the brain) brought about by high blood pressure and congestive heart failure. She was survived by her children Inez, John, Delmer, and Billie.
